3 Quick Tips To Get Your Skin Red Carpet Ready For Any Big Event!

Taylor SwiftWe’ve all heard the stories about the amazing lengths Hollywood celebrities go to to get that perfect “red carpet” look.

Most celebrities have an army of dermatologists, stylists, spray tanners, wardrobe consultants to help them get in tip-top shape for the big event.

But for those without the need (or huge budget) for a full beauty entourage, you can get the same effect if you focus on one thing– your skin.

In our opinion, the most important part of this whole routine is getting your skin looking its best.

And to do that, here are 3 things you can do in the comfort of your own home that’ll have you looking radiant and amazing.

First, exfoliate both your face and body a few times leading up to the event.

We’re a little biased, but it’s well-established that exfoliation is one of the best things you can do for your skin.

Clearing away dead skin cells and debris will bring up new skin cells that look fabulous and fresh.

If you’re not sure which product to use, check out our list of the best exfoliators.

Second, use a self tanner or get a spray tan.

It’s no secret that having a healthy glow makes any outfit look better– especially if you’re going to show some skin in a strapless dress!

Just like with exfoliation, be sure not to overdo it here as well.

And you’ll want to do a “test run” with your self tanner at least one week prior to the event.

Everyone’s skin reacts differently to these products so it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Third, be sure to drink lots of water leading up to the event.

This has been a Hollywood “secret” for some time now and for good reason…

Water is great for flushing out toxins and making your body function better.

And it can do wonders for the skin over just a week or two of consciously getting enough.

Ok so there’s 3 quick and easy things you can do to look great at whatever event you want to impress people at.

We’ll leave hair, makeup and clothing for another day ;)
