    Quick Summary

I had mixed feelings about this product.

I decided to try this on my face and arms/legs to see the difference.

First, I really liked using it on my legs in the shower. There aren’t very many exfoliating beads, but it still worked really well if you took the time to exfoliate a little longer.

It left my skin feeling really soft and moisturized, which was a surprise with a body exfoliator.

The smell is just ok, not bad, but nothing to get excited about. It has a really light smell of walnuts.

Using it on my face was a different story…

I found it to be a little too creamy and not enough exfoliating beads for my face.

The small amount of exfoliating beads made it hard to exfoliate well in the small areas. For some reason the large size of the walnut particles worked well on my arms and legs, but didn’t do much on my face.

Because I didn’t get that much exfoliating from it on my face, it almost felt like I was washing my face with lotion, which wasn’t the result I wanted.

It did come off easy with water and didn’t leave any bad smell.

Overall, I really liked what it did for my skin on my arms and legs, but I didn’t like it for my face.

    Detailed Review:

    Texture/Feel

I really liked the texture of the product – it is a tan/light brown. It is nice and light and isn’t oily at all.

There aren’t as many exfoliating beads in it as I would have liked, but it was good enough for a body exfoliator.

    Smell (in the bottle)

The smell is just ok. It is extremely light and not sweet at all.

I don’t think it has a bad smell, but it isn’t something I love every time I open the jar.

    Application Process

Like many exfoliators, this comes in a jar, which is a little messier when you have to scoop it out with your hands.

It really doesn’t matter too much in the shower, except water can get in if you’re not careful, which makes it a little gross if you go to use it later on your face.

It isn’t oily or messy like other exfoliators that I have used.

It is more of a cream base, so the exfoliating beads don’t go everywhere and make a mess.

It was really easy to rinse off once I was done.

When I used it on my face by the sink, it was really easy to do.

Again, I don’t love having to scoop it out with my hands, but it worked just fine.

After I was done, I just kept it on my bathroom counter.

    Any Drying and/or Redness?

I didn’t have any drying or redness on my face or legs after several uses.

    Short Term Results

I was really surprised how much I liked the results after using this on my legs.

The exfoliating beads are larger, which help when you’re exfoliating larger surface areas like your legs or arms.

It leaves a really soft feeling on your skin right after, which is awesome for a body exfoliator.

When I used it on my face, I didn’t feel like I was evenly exfoliating. Because the beads are so large and there aren’t very many of them, it was hard to get them all in one small spot to exfoliate well.

When I rinsed it off my face, it felt like there was kind of a residue on my cheeks and nose.

After rinsing a few more times, the product came off easily and there was no bad smell or anything.

I didn’t like how my face felt right after using it because I just didn’t think I was able to exfoliate very well with it in the small spaces, like the sides of my nose or my chin.

    Long Term Results

After several uses, I liked what it was doing to my legs. I did see a slight improvement in the evenness in tone and softness of my skin.

I really like how much this moisturized my skin, which is a general concern with exfoliators.

I didn’t think it did a great job on my face over time.

I didn’t see any significant change or improvement of my skin on my cheeks or forehead.

    Ingredients

This product markets their ingredients as all natural – which is great!

I really liked that there was chamomile, aloe vera oil, Vitamin E, and cucumber extract, which are all great for your skin!

Chamomile is traditionally very soothing and can help with redness.

Vitamin E is notoriously great for skin and nails and can help with rejuvenation of new skin cells.

Aloe vera oil is very moisturizing and really helps after exfoliating to keep your skin from drying out.

    Price

The price for 4 oz of product is only $12.95, which is amazing!

I think this is a highlight of this product, because you’re getting all natural ingredients and a good result on your arms and legs for a really great price.
