    Quick Summary

Yes to Carrots Exfoliating Cleanser is one of the worst exfoliators I’ve tried.

This scrub is impossible to rinse off, which is a major pain.

In addition to its difficult application, the results were horrible.  It neither cleansed, nor exfoliated my skin, both of which it claimed to do.

It also made my skin break out which made me furious!

I ended up giving this product one out of five stars because it was very disappointing and obviously wouldn’t recommend it.

    Detailed Review:

    Texture/Feel

Yes to Carrots Exfoliating Cleanser is a peach colored, lotion-like cream.

It contains ground bamboo as its main exfoliating agent, which gives it a gritty, rough texture.

    Smell

The product smells like sunscreen, which isn’t my favorite smell for a cleanser, but it wasn’t unbearable.

Although this exfoliator is made of 98% natural ingredients, it does contain fragrance, which I found to be odd.

    Application Process

Yes to Carrots Exfoliating Cleanser is recommended to be used daily.

One thing that attracted me to this exfoliator is that it’s advertised as a dual-purpose product.

The directions say to apply a small amount to wet face.  Massage with fingertips for 1 minute.  Rinse off with lukewarm water and pat dry.

I found it to be very easy to apply but impossible to rinse off.  It was super sticky and kind of just clung to my skin, refusing to move.

After use, I rinsed my face multiple times and could still feel the product on my skin!

I ended up using a towel to wipe the product off.  I was able to see it on the towel after wiping my face.

    Any Drying and/or Redness?

I experienced a bit of redness from rubbing my face with a towel in order to get the product off.

    Results

I was really disappointed in the results of this exfoliator.

This product neither exfoliated nor cleaned my face whatsoever.

After use my face didn’t feel clean at all.  It actually felt dirtier because of the residue the product left behind.

It also did a horrible job exfoliating my skin.  The most exfoliation I got was from rubbing the product off with a towel.

In addition to the awful results, the morning after I used this product I woke up and my skin had broken out.

I hated the results of this product and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

    Ingredients

Yes to Carrots Exfoliating Cleanser contains 98% natural indigents.  In theory, I really like that this is a certified organic product.  However, if the results are atrocious I won’t use the product no matter how natural it is.

This product uses carrots as one of its main ingredients (obviously). Carrots contain a large amount of Vitamin A and other antioxidants to help protect your skin and treat acne.

Another main ingredient in Yes to Carrots Exfoliating Cleanser is shea butter.  Shea butter restores dry skin and protects skin from dehydration.

    Price

Yes to Carrots Exfoliating Cleanser costs $9.99, which is cheap for an exfoliator.  However, I wouldn’t use this product even if it were free.
